In a recent discussion with one of my colleagues I was asked what are the characteristics of a charismatic leader.
Leadership starts with the conscious decision to find your purpose. It is a statement of who you are and what you stand for.
A charismatic leader is not shaped by individual characteristics, personality traits or the ability to change leadership style to suit particular situations or to know how to use manipulation tactics. This is not a charisma.
Charismatic leaders are defined by the capability to communicate their passion for their purpose and their commitment to their values.
Charismatic leaders ignite integrity. They are people that you can trust because they are genuine and authentic.
